Are you feeling like something isn’t quite right, even if you can’t explain it?

Do you find yourself stuck in the same patterns, despite trying to change?

Are you ready to move beyond coping and create real, lasting change?

You may have reached a point where something no longer feels quite right.

It could be persistent anxiety, difficulties with your relationship to food or your body, or patterns in your thoughts, emotions, or relationships that continue to repeat despite your best efforts to change them.

Working with Monique offers the opportunity to address these challenges at a deeper level.

Monique is a professional Australian Psychologist registered with AHPRA. She is passionate about treating trauma and Eating Disorders. Monique is currently working towards accreditation in Schema Therapy with the International Society of Schema Therapy, and she is also working towards the Eating Disorder Credential with the Australian & New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders (ANZAED).

She comes with experience of working closely with families to help improve the parent-child relationship. She is also passionate about helping parents to break the cycle of intergenerational trauma with their own children to create harmonious homes.

Her approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and focused on treating the drivers of long-standing difficulties — not just managing symptoms. She primarily draws on CBT-E and Schema Therapy.

In your sessions, you can expect genuine progress to be made. Monique creates a space where you will experience warmth, nurturance, gentleness, and, of course, laughter, where people are able to engage openly in the therapeutic process, whether this is your first experience with therapy or you have previously found it unhelpful.

Monique works with adults across all genders and backgrounds. She has a particular interest in helping women prosper and in reducing the stigma for men seeking psychological support.

If you are looking for long-term growth, are ready to engage meaningfully in therapy, seeking more than coping strategies, and are struggling with either anxiety, lifelong patterns that impact your life and relationships, self-esteem, body dissatisfaction, a traumatic history, or all of the above, then Monique is likely to be a positive fit for you.

She commonly supports individuals struggling with:
