Need to improve your strength, balance, or bone health?
Looking for safe, guided exercise as you get older?
Have you been referred by your GP or supported under the NDIS?
If so, Exercise Physiology may be exactly what you need.
Improve Strength, Balance and Bone Health
Exercise can help you stay strong, steady and independent. However, the program needs to be safe and suited to your body.
Many people notice changes in their strength or balance over time. Others are told they have low bone density, arthritis or reduced mobility. Because of this, the right type of exercise becomes very important.
Ben works with many patients who want to move better and feel more confident in their body.
For example, he often helps people who want to:
• Build bone strength and manage osteoporosis
• Improve balance and prevent falls
• Reduce hip, knee and back pain
• Regain strength after illness, surgery or injury
• Stay active and independent for longer
Most importantly, programs are tailored to your ability. Even if you have not exercised for years, you will be guided step by step.
A Calm and Supportive Approach
Starting exercise can feel intimidating. However, Ben focuses on making the process simple and comfortable.
First, he listens carefully to your concerns. Then he learns about your health history and goals. After that, he designs a program that suits your current condition.
Because of this approach, many patients feel more confident after their first session. In addition, the exercises are practical and easy to follow.
Over time, patients often notice better strength, balance and mobility.
Osteoporosis, Balance and Falls Prevention
Strong bones and good balance are important for long-term health. Therefore, a large part of Ben’s work focuses on these areas.
Research shows that the right exercise can improve bone strength and stability. As a result, many people feel safer when walking and moving.
Programs may help to:
• Improve bone density
• Increase balance and stability
• Reduce the risk of falls
• Improve walking confidence
Because sessions are supervised, patients can exercise safely.
